From the founding declaration of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Aging and Care:
The Center develops a critical-constructive dialogue to address the socio-political challenges posed by an "aging society" in an innovative and future-oriented way at the scientific level. Based on approaches from the Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Studies, researchers work together to analyze current problems and develop viable solutions in dialogue with society in order to better meet current and future challenges and counteract processes of social division.
