Movie series with discussion organized by CIRAC, taking place at KIZ Royal Cinema

CIRAC Cinema Movie Series

The aim of this series is to promote dialogue on key social issues related to care, aging, gender, and democracy. Each screening will be accompanied by a panel of experts bringing together critical perspectives from academia and the public.

Dates: 

2 April 2025: Die Geschichte der Dienerin,  adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel The Handmaid’s Tale (1990, director: Volker Schlöndorff, in German),

6 May 2025: Feminism WTF (2023, director: Katharina Mückstein, in German with English subtitles), and

27 May 2025: Die zärtliche Revolution (2024, director: Annelie Boroș, in German with English subtitles)

Doors: 5 pm

Start of screening: 6 pm

Please get your tickets directly at KIZ RoyalKino – first come, first serve! Reservations are available at tickets(at)kinoinfo.at.
Tickets will be available from 3:30 pm on the day of the event.

CIRAC Cinema is organized in cooperation with the Age and Care Research Group Graz, research network Heterogeneity and Cohesion, and Radio Helsinki 92,6 – Freies Radio Graz at KIZ RoyalKino.
