Pflegestammtisch - For Professional Nursing Staff

 ©Karin Schuster

Thursday, 11 August 2022, 18:00-20:00, Haus Esther, Grazer Geriatrische Gesundheitszentren (GGZ), Bethlehemgasse 6, 8020 Graz

This time on the topic of appreciation for nurses!

All professional carers as well as those in training or retirement and teachers are invited.

Appreciation can be experienced in all settings of nursing work, as well as lack of appreciation. "What do you community nurses do anyway?" or "Anyone can care a little." Such experiences were described by participants at the nursing round table in June. What to do in such a situation? Stay silent and “think your own part” or answer boldly?

The nursing base takes up the topic and we take a closer look at the slogans of the regulars' table. What annoys us about derogatory statements and what answers can we counter. Together we will find and practice effective answers. At the same time, we formulate everything that care can and does. Don't be afraid of the statement :)

Of course, the topics brought by the participants also find their place. The added value lies in the networking and in the exchange of experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.

Impetus: Martin Hochegger, teacher, social manager and supervisor

Moderation: Gudrun Jöller, moderator, systemic coach and Karin Schuster, DGKP, Radio Helsinki
