Caring-Living-Labs Graz

Caring-Living-Labs Graz. Shaping Urban Caring Spaces Equitably, in Solidarity and Diversity

Caring-Living-Labs Graz project strengthens social participation and promotes health opportunities for older and very old people in precarious living situations in the city of Graz. The project tries to combine the Caring Communities approach with that of the Living Labs and thus to enable the networked and demand-oriented development of local thinking, experimenting and action spaces. The focus is on socio-economically disadvantaged groups and people with migration biographies. With a variety of cooperation partners and stakeholders (Migrant Advisory Council, Peace Office Graz, OMEGA Association, Social Welfare Office, Senior Citizens Office, VinziDorf Hospice, Institute for Housing at the Graz University of Technology), this project seeks to contribute to the development and implementation of social innovations together with the target group, and to incorporate the knowledge gained from this at a systemic level.

Project management: Annette Sprung, Klaus Wegleitner
Project Team: Anna-Christina Kainradl, Natalie Krampl, Ulla Kriebernegg, Brigitte Kukovetz, Lisa Luisser, Dzenana Pupic
Cooperation partners: Heidi Bassin & Viktoria Fröhlich (Friedensbüro), Virginia Argarate & Margareta Brigitzer (OMEGA), Godswill Eyawo (Migrant:innenbeirat)
