Uni Pop-Up Store: Age – Who Cares?

Imagine getting old. In our long-lived society, a wide range of research approaches deal with the question of how good life can be achieved in old age. The Center for Interdisciplinary Aging and Care Research will present three innovative approaches as part of a science slam:

•      Christian Perwein: Eternal youth as a source of conflict. What opportunities and challenges arise from future technologies when it comes to (non-)aging?
•      Eva-Maria Trinkaus: age before beauty! Hidden age discrimination and its effects
•      Dženana Pupić: Violence in old age: forms of implicit violence in care institutions and possible ways out
