How do people 65+ define their home? What are their needs and what habits result from this? What picture can be drawn of our own homes and what does our housing say about a society that is getting older and older? These are just a few of the questions that will be explored as part of the participatory exhibition project Altersgeschichten: Exploring Housing and Life Together. Individuals, institutions and project partners are invited to work with the Folk Life Museum team to develop various questions about housing and living in demographic change in order to develop an exhibition step by step.
As a prelude, we cordially invite you to a first information and exchange evening. In addition to the project presentation and keynote speeches, the theatre group "Die Wilden Alten" ("The Wild Old Ones") will "playfully" introduce initial ideas and objects into the exhibition space.
We look forward to you becoming part of this project!
