Deal Me a New Green

Performances and dynamic discussions about planetary connectedness and theater in the age of climate crisis

Climate Change Theatre Action 2021

Performing Planetarity

November 15, 2021: 11:45–13:15 HS 25.11, Universität Graz Mozartgasse 14, 8010 Graz

What does it mean to be interconnected locally and across the globe? These witty and illuminating plays dig into how we might shift our sense of being in relation with ourselves, one another, the planet, and the climate. What keeps us from taking meaningful action, and how can we shift our thinking to move towards sustainable solutions for life on earth?

Rethinking Climate and Performance

November 17, 2021: 10:00–11:30 HS 07.02, Universität Graz Harrachgasse 21, 8010 Graz

How does theater facilitate rethinking our responsibility to ourselves, our past, and our future when it comes to en- vironmental justice? These clever and thought-provoking plays imagine how leaders, educators, and parents of the present and future have the power to shape our shared landscape. How will we wield the power we have, and how will our choices ripple through future generations?
