“Health Humanities: A Future-Looking Field” (Lecture in English)

Erin Gentry Lamb, PhD, is Carl F. Asseff MD, MBA, JD, Professor in Medical Humanities, Associate Professor of Bioethics, and Faculty Lead for the Humanities Pathway in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Trained in the field of literature, her research interests include ageing and ageism, disability, death and dying, and pedagogy. A co-founder of the North American Network in Aging Studies and past Co-President of the Health Humanities Consortium, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. She co-edited the field-defining textbook Research Methods in the Health Humanities (Oxford, 2019) with Craig Klugman and co-authors the comprehensive report on Baccalaureate Health Humanities Programmes in the United States and Canada.
