New member of the CIRAC team Alekszandra Rokvity and her supervisor Ulla Kriebernegg are this year’s recipients of the Elisabeth-List-Fellowship. The project In/Visible Endometriosis: Menstruation, Menopause, and Narrative Medicine explores endometriosis as a case study of social injustice faced by women in a gendered health care system. Bringing together experts from the fields of arts and humanities, medicine, and aging studies with activists and artists, the project promises to offer a unique, interdisciplinary take on living and aging with chronic illness. The Kick Off event will take place in the fall of 2023, followed by an array of events designed both for the academic setting and the wider public.
