Philo Café with Sandra Radinger on Encounter and the Limits of Language
At Kant_ine Vier Zehn, the restaurant housed in the former “Sargfabrik” in Vienna (now the premises of the Verein für Integrative Lebensgestaltung), people come together once a month to engage in philosophical discussion.
On 13 April 2026, our CIRAC member Sandra Radinger was invited to provide insights on language, encounter, and philosophical practice. The philosophical practitioner Cornelia Mooslechner-Brüll (Philoskop) moderated the evening.
We explored the ambivalence of language: it is both bridge to fellow human beings as well as a source of misunderstanding and means of exclusion. So how do we meaningfully engage with each other, if “the others” speak so seemingly differently from “us”?
