End-of-Life Care, Frailty, Vulnerability

An in-depth examination of the fundamental anthropological and existential questions concerning the end of life, frailty and vulnerability provides the foundation for social learning processes and changes towards age-friendly societies based on solidarity. To address these issues, research at CIRAC ranges from traditional basic research in the field of critical ageing studies within the humanities, social sciences and cultural studies (FWF, EU, VW) to more participatory and development-focused research (FFG, FGÖ).
