Dr. Peter Goggin is Associate Professor of Rhetoric (English), Senior Global Futures Scholar at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Lab, and affiliate faculty member at the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. His books and articles include research on topics such as literacy studies, serendipity in research, environmental rhetoric, feral animals, mermaids, science fiction, inland waterways, and oceanic islands.
