Dr. Peter Goggin is Associate Professor in Rhetoric (English), Senior Global Futures Scholar with the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Lab, and affiliate faculty with the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. His books and articles include research on such topics as literacy studies, serendipity in research, environmental rhetoric, feral animals, mermaids, science fiction, inland waterways, and oceanic islands.
