Anita Wohlmann

“Narrative Medicine: Theory and Practice” (Vortrag auf Englisch)

 

Anita Wohlmann is Associate Professor in Contemporary Anglophone Literature at the University of Southern Denmark, Odensee, where she is a member of the Center for Uses of Literature. She teaches in the English and American Studies programs as well as in the faculty of health sciences, where she coordinates the Narrative Medicine module. She is a founding member and coordinator of the German Network for Narrative Medicine. Anita Wohlmann’s research focuses on metaphors, illness narratives, age and aging, and life writing. Her last monograph is about Metaphor in Illness Writing: Battle and Fight Reused (2022).
