CIRAC is proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Amelia DeFalco (University of Leeds, UK) has been awarded the CIRAC Fellow award. Amelia DeFalco is Professor in Contemporary Literature and her research focuses on Medical Humanities (aging studies, care dementia etc.), posthumanism, affect studies and new materialism, and contemporary literature and film.
Prof. DeFalco was one of the keynote speakers at the CIRAC's inaugural conference 2023, where she gave a lecture titled “Imagining Mycorrhizal Aging and Care.”
